Regaining Mobility

The Myomo exoskeleton is a powered arm brace for stroke recovery. Using myoelectric signals, it provides someone with limb paralysis from a stroke or brachial plexus injury (BPI) a path to recovery. Early generations of the device could not be used or put on without a caregivers full attention, our design path was to enable 1-handed donning and operation of the device with an innovative soft-sleeve construction, and new UI design.

Amplifying the weak nerve signals, it enables muscle re-education and rehabilitation and eventually helps restore the near full function of the limb, helping them perform functions that would have been impossible before. The Myomo Pro is a FDA approved, Class-2 medical device.
