A Container for Brand

 

As a uniquely fresh voice against a sea of traditional audio brands, Sol Republic had to become a living brand that had a mandate to constantly evolve from day one.

My role was help shape that voice, by getting to know our consumers and amplifying the authenticity that people came to us for. Core to that effort was helping shape a focused set of brand guidelines along with our design team.

The design objectives for our packaging program were to create a new global oriented packaging design, improve sustainability, lower bill-of-materials cost, and bring forward a new on-shelf identity.

Engaging Simplicity

We wanted to dodge the typical CE packaging pitfals. Removing layers, we designed around simple simple focal points and smart use of materials to convey upscale brand-appeal without breaking the bank

Structural System


Launching a diverse new range of product form factors for a new brand and we needed to figure out packaging scaling problem quickly. We sought to create a unified structural design system to make it easier for our designers to design a scaling brand system whenever a new product was released
